Milan 2013: Tacchini Galleria

Tacchini is one of my favorite new lines that we are carrying at Inform. We have a handful of gorgeous pieces on the floor currently and I'm excited about the new collection shown in Milan. Here is a cute animation of the Galleria. Enjoy!

Foscarini always stands out in my mind for lighting. The quality is always one of the best in the business and their designs always feel fresh and interesting. This year does not disappoint!

If you haven't heard of Nendo, well, then here is your introduction. Nendo is a Japanese design company run by Oki Sato. Their work is absolutely stunning and always produces some of the best coming out of Milan during iSaloni. This year, Nendo did not disappoint. I love their work but also how they display and explain their pieces. They are really thoughtful in all that they do. Gorgeous work!

iSaloni 2013: Bocci, Flos and more lighting at Euroluce!

We love Bocci at Inform. Their lighting is stunning and they're from Vancouver! This year they bring us the 57 Series, an absolute stunner! Allison said by far, the best stand at the fair! Wow!

iSaloni 2013 Milan is here and Allison is there!!!

iSaloni 2013 is in full swing and our lovely and fearless leader Allison has once again made the trip to Milan, Italy to see the latest and greatest in the world of furniture and this year also lighting. We'll be following her travels throughout the fair and around Milan. As iSaloni isn't just about what you see at Rho but also what you see around town!

Allison spent day 1 looking at Moooi's presentation offsite. More to come on that later though! She did however, get a sneak peek at Ingo Maurer's new lighting!

We are pleased to share the experience of walking though this year’s Poliform and Varenna stands during Salone Internazionale del Mobile and EuroCucina. 

Poliform presents My Life, the newest concept of contemporary living with closets, shelving, furniture, and Varenna kitchens; design influenced by an international, forward-looking view to complete an entire home.

Day one: Our favorite find is the "Still & Sparkling" exhibit by Japanese design studio Nendo, supported by Czech lighting brand Lasvit . Beautiful.

We are all so excited about our new lighting line, Metalarte. It is a wonderful line out of Spain and we are all in love with the gorgeous Jaime Hayon pieces! Looking forward to getting the lights on the floor.

All around town there art installations and pop-up design shops during the fair week. It adds to the already incredible and almost overwhelming Mardi Gras vibe that is Milan for iSaloni. Here a few interesting installs.

The Wallpaper party was not to be missed this year and quite difficult to get in I hear.... The fair is all about the furniture by day and by night - pop up art is happening all over the city and so much fun to see and be a part of!
