Inform is excited to announce our new partnership with Casamania, an Italian manufacturer that has been designing and producing since 1984. Their design sensibility is playful and polished and their mix of color, texture and material adds a uniqueness not seen in other brands. Bensen Project Feature: Songbird

In Bensen News: Designers Leela Brightenburg and Alissa Pulcrano of Bright Design Lab choose to use the Bensen Torii chairs for a new eatery in the Mt Tabor neighborhood of Portland called Songbird. The chairs complement the tasteful airy aesthetic of the restaurant, while also having been selected for their surprising amount of comfort. We’re proud to see Torri used in such a beautifully executed project and pleased to hear customers glowing response to the chair and… the delicious food!

This Ain't No Fling - 54 years and going strong.

KEVI is the classic office chair with the hard-wearing principle: The better you sit, the more you get done. The KEVI® Chair, Model 2533, is 54 years old. And if you’re one of the lucky 2.5 million owners that have one from the year 1972 or newer, you can still get spare parts for this hard working chair. That's sustainability – lasting value. Designed by an architect, it is suitable for homes, offices, schools and workplaces where one solution must satisfy many demands. Everything is visible, nothing is superfluous: seat, back, base, and controls designed to functional perfection. A simple well-balanced formula that incorporates aesthetic appeal with freedom of movement plus the flexibility you would expect from a full-service program. If you’re still not familiar with Engelbrechts' KEVI Chair and the many versions available.   Give us a call, we'd love to tell you more.

The new lookbooks from EcoSmart Fire is a handy tool to envision all the many ways the fireplaces can be used in both commercial and residential settings. I love how versatile the line is and this is a beautiful showcase that echoes my sentiments exactly.

New at Inform! Arper

In just a couple of weeks we will have a whole slew of pieces from Arper, a wonderful contract furniture line out of Italy. I love their lines and style and I think you will too! I also love their philosophy on what their designs will bring to you and your life. "Arper's vision aims at improving the quality of life by paying attention to quality, safety and the environment. We offer seating and table solutions that make your living spaces more welcoming, adding style and comfort to your day, whether in the office or at home."

Their continued committment to the environment and lessening their impact on the globe as a manufacturer is also another reason why Arper is in the top ten of my favorite companies. "Arper aims at minimising environmental impact with policies involving every single phase of the company's life. Arper has developed a Product Stewardship program inspired by the company environmental approach. As part of this principle, all those involved in a product life cycle share responsibility for the impacts on human health and Nature in the course of managing the phases of production, use and end-of-life."

Here is a preview of what you will see arriving into our Contract space in the next couple of weeks.
