BOCCI 14 Series Wet Location Option Available Now at Inform!

Inform is delighted to account that the Bocci 14 series now comes in a wet location configuration, which means these atmospheric pendant and surface mount lights can be installed outdoors, or in a variety of commercial and residential applications.

Bocci's first signature piece, the 14 is intended as an ambient installation, a counterpoint to the traditional image of the chandelier as a dominant, central object. Designed by Omer Arbel in 2005, 14 achieves its power through a strategy of composition and clustering, filling the volume of a room and making the height and shape of its dimensions understood to inhabitants in a direct and physical manner.

The 14 pendant has been tested for suitability in wet locations in compliance with:

UL Standard 1598 for luminaires
ANSI/ UL Standard 2108 for low voltage lighting
CSA Standard C22.2 NO.250.0 for luminaires

Each wet location 14 will be outfitted with teflon coated coaxial cable and a silicon plug for the top of the pendant. Contact info@informseattle.com for pricing and lead times.

New from Bensen!

Of all of the product lines we carry here at Inform (and that is alot, let me tell you - my brain is bursting!), Bensen is one of my favorites. It hails from Vancouver, BC and is the genius of Niels Bendtsen. Everyone of us here at Inform own a piece from Bensen - from mirrors to sofas to beds. The spectrum of products that this company produces is amazing. What is even more impressive is the amount of time and thought that goes into each one. Each detail on a piece is looked at and worked out - there is not a time when I ask myself, why did they do that? Bensen even takes it a step further - the packaging of the pieces is what it should be for every furniture and lighting company out there.

Here are two new pieces that round out the already impressive collection, one of which is at the top of my purchase list - sofas are like shoes, right, you can never have too many?

Bensen Edward - coming soon to the Inform showroom!

Bensen Brix is a modular stacking drawer system that can be arranged in almost endless configurations. Now at the Inform showroom!

Bocci 28 Party!

Allison and Quinn had the pleasure of heading up to Vancouver a couple of weeks ago to attend Bocci's 28 series launch. The party took place in their headquarters that is currently being renovated. It certainly set the stage for the party and added to the cool factor. Quinn described the scene as, "great decor consisting of piles of rubble from the partially demolished roof, inset with Bocci 28 pendants. You could see the sky in one corner, as the roof had been partially removed." Check out the slideshow and what an incredible job Bocci did putting everything together. Amazing!

Pictures coming...
