Sometimes an object makes me smile, allowing a moment
of joy. Ingo Maurer lighting almost universally achieves this for me. This
morning we lit Kokoro and I realized how much it was needed. My heart leapt; it
is perfect.

The Kokoro is from Maurer’s MaMo Nouchies series. It reminds me of a dancer it sways a bit, a heart shaped reflector sends a little beam of love across the room. This might be its moment.
